Needs several hours of air to emerge, wasn't able to last that long so my rating is an estimate !

Big wine that started off very good but seemed to turn great with time in the decanter. Big bodied, great acidity, complex and a long finish.

Rich, intriguing, and funky. Honeyed and nutty with underlying licorice and dried lemon peel.

The owner has no internet connection, no phone, nada! Good luck buying from the source unless you make the journey!

All I can say is holy shit. This has so much complexity and none of the over-ripe fruits you might expect from '09. At first this smells like a flinty Chenin (Leroy?). Then some pineapple & fines herbes on the palate, but subtle. The finish goes on and on. And then, right when you thought it was going to end, it keeps going.
