Bright red cherry and mineral backbone, still lots of fruit but in a good place. Great balance but just missing some of the long nuance of excellent burgundy.

Very pale colored, just starting to brown around the rim. Strong nose, dominated by floral flavors (roses?), forest and almost a menthol like smell I can't put my finger on. Very refreshing, lively acidity, flavors of (old?) black cherry and cranberry. Complex. Fruit is there but it's not the sweet fresh fruit profile of a young wine.

Fantastic. Still young enough to need some air, but from there it marries power and delicacy in an impressive way.

Smokey undertones with some wood, fruit is almost vegetal in taste - also a little thin - but easy drinking just not one to go wow-wee on.....but I will use it in my Boeuf Bourguignon :)
