After 20 years in the wine business, Burgundy still leaves me struggling for words. Although just a humble Bourgogne, this bottle had "that certain something" that makes the searching worth it. Great with duck sausage and more Burgundy than Pinot Noir.

Dec 25th, 2021Out of half bottle. One of those wines that’s just so charming and with plenty of depth and complexity it’s hard to believe it’s a 2011 Bourgogne out of half bottle. Overachieving is a nice start. Random purchase at auction for a song. Great choice.
