Palate is dry with a high acidity, high dry tannins is keeping the pace but is well balanced by a backbeat of a generous of dark fruit canvas, strong and dimensional mid palate with and a long finish where the tannins still regins supremes and close it all up. 9,4
75% Mourverde, Grenache, Cinasult and Syrah,. elevage for 18 months in large casks.

Have preferred the '11 in the past over the more open-knit, less structured '10. But this bottle was singing. Streaked with the right amount of silky tannin and Provençal herb to hold it all together.

This is one of those wines where it is hard to separate the significance and importance of the producer from the actual quality and character of the wine. Both sides of it are really great. Such a classic wine.
