Bought a case 30 years ago. This wine defines so many beliefs of mine after 40 plus years a vintner. Still talks to you.

Epic. Love wines that are so great with age, but also this delicious when young.

A little monster in an elegant suit, unleashed with plenty of complexity luring underneath.
Dense and concentrated aromas, youthful and unleashed but without any hard or offensive edges. Primary dark fruit with black plums and cassis, followed by blueberries and a refreshing orange-like character. A savory complexity with earth, cold meat. Plenty of savoury spice that evolves into fresh herbs and lavender with aeration.
Palate is dry with a high acidity, high dry tannins is keeping the pace but is well balanced by a backbeat of a generous of dark fruit canvas, strong and dimensional mid palate with and a long finish where the tannins still regins supremes and close it all up. 9,4
75% Mourverde, Grenache, Cinasult and Syrah,. elevage for 18 months in large casks.

Soft and supple. Lovely rounded red and dark fruit with a bit of spice and sage. Very good now. Long and delicious. From mag

Yep, that’s my mom in the background! She loves Tempier. Lovely wine with lamb shoulder kebabs.

Grippy dark cassis black cherry and stewed black fruit clay and a touch of VA. Pretty boozy.

Have preferred the '11 in the past over the more open-knit, less structured '10. But this bottle was singing. Streaked with the right amount of silky tannin and Provençal herb to hold it all together.

This is one of those wines where it is hard to separate the significance and importance of the producer from the actual quality and character of the wine. Both sides of it are really great. Such a classic wine.
