Cuvée La Tourtine Bandol Mourvedre Blend

Thank you Jennifer for the 14 & 15 barrel tasting as well as opening a 2004 for us. Can't wait for the 15's! The fruit is beautiful. The 2004 is nicely resolved and the blue fruits are shinning. Ready to drink and will drink well for another 5 years going forward.

Still opening up in the glass. Balance and Powerful with loads of wild blackberry, leather and herbs.

The most remarkable Tempier I’ve had. Deep ruby with some purple tones in color despite the wine’s vintage. Integrated and soft tannins to complement good acidity and a M+ finish. Black and blue fruit supported by tertiary notes of mushroom, forest floor, and earth. Probably at the peak of this wine’s potential.

Excellent. Great balance and lift!

Still needs time but double decant helped. A little muted but still paired well with lamb.
