Very light salmon in color.

Strong nose of limes, grapefruits, light red fruits, citrus, green apples, earth and minerals.

Medium bodied with medium acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with light strawberries, limes, grapefruits, bitter herbs and earth.

Tangy finish with limes and light earth.

This is a refreshing Rosé from Bandol. Well balanced and easy drinking. Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel.

Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already starting to drink very nicely.

Good by itself or with food.

91 points.

$50.

Brief notes - first of 6. Simplistically, this is the colour of watermelon with a brassy tinge; aromatics of watermelon and a refreshing palate of watermelon. Will no doubt gain complexity with time in cellar, but essentially a drink now wine. Expensive for a Rose at $82 AUD.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2022 pours a pale coral color with a transparent core; medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with a refreshing mix of tart and ripe red fruits; strawberry, watermelon dry underbrush, red flowers, and wet stone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry; tannins are light with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and saline. Lovely texture. This continues to be a benchmark for rosé. Drink now through 2032.

Incredible. 14 years in and still gorgeous.

Normally love this wine, 2017 has not been my favorite...bitter notes, alcohol sticks out, fruit seems overdone.

👃 Watermelon, cold peach, cold clementine peel, crushed rock.

👅 Under-ripe peach, cold raspberry, red currant, orange zest.

Lovely, been a while since we've grabbed this bottle, in a great spot, probably killer in 2-4Y, but I'll never know; one off purchase.

Best tempier rose I’ve had in a while. Intense savory watermelon mineral salinity acidity and structure. Fantastic.

National Rose Day!! I guess that’s a thing. Figured I should open one of my favorite Rosé wines on the planet. Unfortunately, this has become so hard to find in my neck of the woods that it’s nearly unobtainium. I would otherwise drink this all summer long. On the nose, strawberry, melon, blood orange and a little bit of funky cheese. On the palate, brambles, strawberry, citrus. Fabulous body…nearly chewy. Low tannin. Dry. Great acid. Super long…over a minute with minerals for days. A truly special wine that everyone can find a reason to love.
