Double decant and pour. A stellar medium dark ruby red color. On the nose: bursting from the glass are tart cherries, red currants, forest floor, eucalyptus. Taste: raspberry, minerals, bacon, wet leaves with a slightly spiced cherry long finish!!..It still has a little tannic kick...a terrific wine early in its drinking window (really enjoying it now), ready to go a number of years....
