Lime, hibiscus, pink salt. NYE treat to taste this novel and rare (2 barrels / vintage) bottle of the chardonnay rose, a pinkish purple skinned mutation found in Marsannay. That said, didn’t strike us as a fussy or arcane wine, though. Delicious and quaffable, unmistakably chard… my last sips reminded me a bit of margarita!
