Subdued nose has classic tree bark, iodine, blackberry skin, and old leather. Broad and low-toned in the mouth, with lots of underbrush notes. Still a fair amount of tannin. Should go well with the lamb I’m about grill.

Nov 10th, 2014Deep dark color with an exciting floral nose. Medium-bodied, blackberry notes are showing along with flowers, leather, and some really funky herbs on the palate. This is just a baby and I can't wait to see what it's going to develop into in the future.

Fresh, dark fruit, herbs, minerals and licorice. Gripping tannins and firm acid. Still very young and tight, but pleasurable and pairs well with umami rich foods.
