Night one it wasn't very demonstrative, not on night 2, it blossomed. Rich aromas of straw-inflected pear fruit and a prominent earthy, brothy note. Nice balance of fruit, limestony earth, and brightness. Good Maconnais wines like this one can be very Chablis-like, but not quite as zingy, and a little shorter in the finish.

Very nice burgundy. Fruitier than most but in a good way, slightly less acidic and with a somewhat shorter finish. Great value!
