I like still Blanc de Noirs, but this style is too oak driven for my taste.

Pairs really well with tomato gazpacho. Polo grill domaine serene wine dinner. 100% Pinot noir but white and made like a Chardonnay. Hint of oak.

A very rich, barrel influenced nose....this was all caramel, toffee, crepe brûlée, and freshly baked apple pie before warming up to show off undertones of peach and apple. Barrel fermentation adds plenty of richness and texture to a lush mouthfeel. Altogether confusing and enjoyable all at once, and a very fun, limited offering from an outstanding Oregon producer.

Light gold color. Very floral nose with pear and ripe fruit. On the palate, oak ageing shows with caramel notes, barley sugar candy, fat, wood and very ripe fruit flavors. Almost no acidity at all. Quite hard to seize, but well made. Very good (89)

Made from Pinot Noir grape, but vinified as a white wine. Aged 13 months in oak barrels, 33% were new. Alcohol level of 13,7%
