Carries the cool signature of the vintage well. Fresh, with lift and dance on the palate. A fun departure from Les Hauts Garrigues pre-2010, love the the purity and acidity here. Its very smokey and roasty (not overripe however) with lovely interwoven brett and savory, garrigue character. Nice cooling herbs and juniper elements. Fruit intact and humming along nicely, this is drinking great right now.

My experience did not allow this wine to reveal its potential. Our bottle was corked, it was served at a a very warm room temp, and the wine had nearly no time to breathe. In this condition it was flat and lifeless. There’s nice structure, so I hope I can revisit in better circumstances.
