Gigondas Red Rhone Blend

A very good Gigondas that probably requires another 2 years to hit it's stride, but it's potential is evident.
The nose has a bright refreshing clarity. Brambly fruits, mixed herbs and pepper get the party going. The party continues in the mouth with cut flowers - violets, perhaps. Black licorice and overripe blackberries dominate. The mouthfeel is taught and expansive. This should grow up to be a 92/93 pt specimen.

2010 Very delicious - moderate tannins - very drinkable now

Very smooth.

Consumed in Langans Brasserie in London. Good stuff.

Mostly Grenache. Good amount of spice. "Clearly superior" to Yalumba. Buy if cheap.
