Light gold. Awesome nose. Notes of lemon and tan spice, white stones, some mint and fennel, and a hint of tangerine. Lean and razor sharp in the mouth. In perfect shape, and bottles like this easily have 10 more years of life during which it can certainly improve. Gave it 3 hours in a decanter and it was still pretty tight in its showing.

Straw to medium gold color. Nice weight. Notes of apricot, tan spice, kiwi, dusty clay and some wax. At first it’s watery and sweet in the mouth. After 2+ hours of air it firms up to give nice structure and acidity. Slightly missing in the mid palate. Good not great. Continue to be unsure about this wine which I’ve had many times. It’s better today than samples from the past few years. Maybe just more time is needed.

Medium gold color, heavy in the glass. Ripe fruit nose with notes of apricot, honeydew, and soil. Flabby in the mouth and a bit advanced in the taste. Even with air, this seemed like it never balanced the watery and advanced fruit with any discernible acidity or structure. Bought on release and stored well. Disappointing.

Light gold. Looks young in glass with nice weight. Floral nose with ripe pit fruit, stone, spice and some soil. Very rich. Thought the acidity of the 04 vintage would dominate, but while there is a nice structure in the wine now that builds with air time , the fruit is main story right now. Can improve from here with more age, with hopes that some acidity becomes a bigger part of the experience in the next bottle. Give it air.
