Aromatics and palate weight are wonderful. They work in balance and add a textural complexity not often found. The fruit is on the darker side with some smoke & herbs adding to the forward red berries. Tannins are silky & appealing. Excellent.

Roulot, ftw. The Auxey '13 is rich and complex with apricots and dried fruit yielding to lemon curd and vanilla. Was still evolving when we finished the bottle 2-3 hours in. Probably could do with a bit more age.
