Pere-Mayeux Marius Côtes du Rhone Villages Grenache blend

Good flavors, can taste the cherries which initially had a tiny bit of sourness attached.

Grenache-Syrah leaning heavily towards the Grenache. Tart, acid. Mild sour cherry.

Visited the winery on 1/28/21. Bought Marius 2017, Tradition 2019, et les deux vins blancs.

Dark fruit with good structure but still fresh and juicy

Surprisingly on the tannic side with only modest fruit, especially in light of its high proportion of Grenache at 80%. Still, with some breathing time, a nice wine, paired well with a rich mushroom, spinach, cheese baked pasta.

Fragrant with fruit but flavor falls short of smell

Fantastic nose with somewhat disappointing palate.
