The 2016 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru includes 40% whole bunch fruit. It has very fine definition on the nose: wild strawberry and raspberry, rose petal and a touch of vanilla. The whole bunch is very deftly used here. The palate is fresh and full of vigour, finely chiseled tannins with a detailed and slightly floral finish. Superb! (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2018)

This is in a great spot. Delicious brambly complexity from crisp dark red fruit. Not overly persistent but not finishing short. I think it has the balance to improve as secondary notes develop but not all tasters at the table agreed.
