The prestigious Wine Enthusiast selected this 100% Gamay Noir as an “Editor’s Choice “ scoring 93 points. They continue to say that it would be best late 2018 forward. Possibly it’s just too young now and that’s the reason for my lower score. It presents aromas of black cherries and ripe fruit that carries over into its taste, but I found it lacking in balance and a little on the hot side, again maybe because of its youthfulness. I classify it as a drinkable even enjoyable table wine that will not offend nor will it Wow. 13.0% alc/vol
