Domaine Rene Leclerc
Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Pleasant little Burg. Tad on the awkward side, like a kid with braces. #delectableapp

My first foray in to more expensive Burgundy (at least for my budget). I thought the wine was fantastic, nice balance of fruit and acid. Will look in to getting more!

Light bodied with cran raspberry and currant, on the funky side, nice Burg hiding behind a basic Bourgogne label

Pleasant for the 💰. Beats most US Pinots I’ve had. Except maybe the Sonoma Rivers Marie. Looks like a dark rose in the glass with a nice funky cranberry thing.

Ruby hue with pink rim variation. Moderate tearing. Nose offers tart red fruit, such as bright red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with delicate clove, sage, lavender, and violet notes. Moderate+ acidity on the palate, more so than on the nose. Overall style is elegant albeit restrained. Vintage 2015. ABV 12.5%.
