It provides intensity in spades, but what really strikes me is its elegance. The underlying acidity manages to create something dangerously drinkable, which at the same time feels serious from start to finish. Age worthy too.

Pretty tight in its youth. Deep ruby color, star berry, raspberry, red cherry. Strong young tannins. Needs more time in bottle to mellow out and build structure. Drank very well, even better, the second night.
