Medium gold. Tight nose compared to the Niellon next to it. Notes of citrus, herbal/mint, almond paste, earth, apricot, wet stone. Complex, almost odd in the mouth. Sneaky acidity. With hours of air this gradually opened up. Great last sip.

Dec 10th, 2022M’s bday dinner (5/12). Tasted blind. Light to medium gold. Notes of rich citrus fruit, lemon, apples, petrol/minerals, gravel, some spice and a little white truffle. Rich in the mouth with great structure. Chewy. Amazing mouth feel with a long finish. Loved this, an all time top W Burg for me, but the 92 Rav Clos provided just a little more emotion for me over the evening.

May 27th, 2019Medium gold color. Slightly darker than the others tasted beside it. Heavy nose that at first seems disjointed. But with a few hours of air this starts to show what it has. Acidity builds over 4 hours and this gives off some stone, citrus pit and iodine notes. The telltale mint is faint but present. Not a perfect performance but still shows its stuff.

Jun 4th, 2017Huge. Heavy weight in the glass like motor oil. We all guessed full Monty. One picked up the ramonet mint. Really special.
