A little bit more precision than the 2012 and a bit more masculin, great effort in a colder year.

Dark crimson. Noticeable oak characters on nose. Rich but also showing stems. This whole bracket of 6 was more feminine, more giving and more whole bunch but definitely not lacking in longevity. Would love to taste in 20 years.

Of course this is still young and will develop nicely over the next decade. Decanted, did soften some as it opened. Fruit forwarded with a tart cherry, spice, oak, and a dense tannin structure. As crazy as this seems try it with a freshly cut tomato, led to interesting conversation.
