The 2017 Chablis La Foret 1er Cru is a super-expressive, weightless wine that captures the essence of what makes Chablis so special, and that is the ability to deliver incredible flavor intensity without excess weight. The 2017 needs a bit of time in bottle to come together, as the oak is not fully assimilated just yet. Even so, the 2017 is incredibly vivid and precise. What a wine!

Viscous even borderline oily. Could have used a bit more acidic zing with all the amazing seafood tonight, but it was versatile enough. Restaurant Fiskekrogen. Amazing fish if you find yourself in Gothenburg Sweden.
