Burgundian CDP with an Italian name. Elegant with earthy Grenache fruit, and aromas of spiced Cider.

Last bottle. And it was the best one. Beautiful ripe red fruit, citrus, great tension, length and class. Paired really nice with fillet of lamb with a creamy orange sauce and grilled green asparagus.

Just past it’s prime. Fruit is fading. Broth is coming through. Drink up.

Light brick color, seems to have lost a little energy...time to drink up

Pleasant but unremarkable...tastes like it’s best days are behind it

This 2006 bottle came to us via a circuitous, mysterious path with risky provenance of loading docks, garages and more. The fill level was okay, the cork was tight and produced almost no sediment. In the decanter it is opaque with a deep mahogany color. The first sniff gave me pause but the full body on the tongue is rich with cherries and chocolate. I'm guessing if this bottle had been properly cared for the score would be in the nines.

Plenty of ripe dark fruit with well-integrated tannins. Probably at peak now.

Deep rich plum, blueberry with nice tobacco, leather and spice notes. Soft, velvety mouth feel. Great with grilled meats and vedette vegetables
