Domaine Pierre Savoye
Côte du Py Morgon Gamay Noir
Initially tart attack but came around to juicy mid-palate. Strawberry, red cherry and cotton candy with backdrop of dry herbs.

Jul 1st, 2017Not my favorite Morgan. This is the Tradition bottling. Tart red fruit and not much else. May have drunk too young.

Feb 4th, 2017Great QPR at $18. Nose of tart black fruits, a little green edge, bay leaf, something floral - maybe dried flowers, dried leaves. Bright but dark fruits registering as a little lemon around tart black plum and plum skin. Also some unsweetened cranberry. Some decent tannic structure. Somewhat austere but good overall. Wouldn't hold more than 2 yrs I don't think
