Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir

a little burly but lovely wine with thickness and layers.

“Foggy bonfire on the Oregon coast” was my mom’s blind tasting note. I cannot find fault with that. This haunts. I love.

Soft and approachable. A bit of butterscotch on the nose. Beautiful looking but lacks some of the pure fruit I'd hope for. Good, but not profound.

Great Chambertin, drink over 36 hours, not much evolution after the first hour, and kept all its smoothness and fruitiness.
