Super easy going, rustic corsican red blend. Reminiscent of Provence red blends to some extent. Black olive spread (tapenade), bacon, black pepper, garigue, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry... Wow this is profound and inviting. The palate is well balanced, with a good acid drive, some width, some meaty, umami notes all along, some red and black fruits popping up all around, good tannins in the rear, leaving a drying layer over a fruity finish with that umami note, for a finish that's fairly short, but delicious. It lacks a bit of depth and length but it's a great daily sipper.
