Bourgogne Aligoté

One of the very best aligote’s. Cut right through homemade loaded Mac and cheese. Must get more.

Tight, clean, zippy citrus and crisp acid. Pronounced bitterness on the finish that really melded in after some air.

Solid. Limey, raw almonds. Structured. Bargain!

Juicy, creamy, round and refreshing. Cinnamon apple pie w/ potpourri.

Simple, soft, even a little volatile heat on finish as alcohol is 12.5%.

Kind of awesome we need more wines like this at this price.

Pop and pour. Weird. More savory than my last btls, and just perfect aligote for my palate. Yum!

Notes similar to last time: sweet apple, cotton candy, lemon and spice. On the palate: ok acidity, lemon, sweet apple, vanilla...was hoping this might start to show more savory, but no such luck. Ok, but oh well.
