Bone dry, this wine gives up scents of green apple skin, citrus pith, a light honeyed scent, and wet stone minerality. Weighty, but a little austere nonetheless on the palate. This will appeal to those who are chasing geology rather than fruit. I like it!

Writing this up after the fact- nice minerality. Rather light on fruit. Something in the finish I wasn’t fond of.

Aug 23rd, 2026A house divided. My spouse thought the wine was undrinkable because she tasted very strong acidity or a wet stone taste. I thought the wine had a strong citrus taste over the traditional sweeter Riesling richness. Challenging wine. Still paired ok with poultry. Drank September 2023
