Haven’t had a CdP in ages, and this is impressive. So youthful and fruity, buttressed with cloves and nutmeg. Presents textured on the mid palate with a solid weight profile. Finishes plummy and sweet with a hint of anise.

Very interesting to see a 50/50 Syrah Grenache from Chateauneuf. That being said, this is a very good wine!

Plums, pepper and earth. Reminds me of the figgy taste of pouch chewing tobacco. I love CDP. This is still tight but opens nicely in glass.
