Estate Bottled Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Even simple Bourgogne, when done right is so damn moreish. We adventurously paired this with duck confit and lentils, what a success. As my dad said, it should have been a liter.

Not too shabby for $12

Fruit-forward on the nose and tongue. Cherry pie, slight spice, slight forest floor with good balance. Simple, but great food wine. Would buy for under $20.

A low end Pinot from this winery that is dark in color with almost no transparency. Deep cherry. It did pair nicely with duck. July 2025.

Pretty tart, light, thin. It’s ok.

This is a candidate for the best Bourgogne I've ever had. This is truth in a bottle.

GL Burg Parent tasting 2/8/17. Basic good balanced floral and earthy nose and palate of red Burg. $27 decent value.

Getting warmed up for a big night of Burgundy. Nice 'discovery' level Bourgogne. Bright red fruit and bracing minerals.

Solid Bourgogne with black cherries and Raspberries with a hint of mushroom and medium tannin, medium finish. A touch more time would be beneficial
