La Bidode Chardonnay 100% from Overnoy-Cinquand, a small domaine of around 5 hectares in Pupillin (within the Arbois appellation) now operated by Mickaël Crinquand, a distant relative of the master Pierre Overnoy. Fermented and aged for 2 years in oak barrels with no topping up (ouillage). Medium to full bodied. Nutty, honeyed, notes of caramel and oak. Crisp apple. Minerals.
