Best on day 3! Amazing concentration, balance, and length. It needs the extra ox time. Peppery, blackcurrenty roughly woven silk in a glass!

6th vintage of this I've tasted (all now in my cellar). Decanter Regional Trophy this year (although they don't care much about that down here). A fabulously fruity Syrah and Grenache forward wine with a hint of Carignan spice in the background. Opulent and early drinking (now - 2020 (as opposed to the 2011 that will last for decades)) A fantastic buy at €10 a bottle (from the cave)!
