Probably the most complex CDP I have ver had. Amazing wine that is in its prime.

2013 vintage. Dried cherries washed over ripe figs and finish with a semi sweet fruit medley. Paired with lamb kabobs and oven warmed asparagus with red wine reduction. 💋

2016: Mostly a young fruit bomb at this stage, but it’s some great raspberry (and less so plum) fruit, with a slight stone edge. Pretty two-dimensional now but with this concentration and focus it should get a lot more interesting with age and be well worth the wait. $70 at WL.

Pulled from the cellar - a fantastic, traditional chateauneuf-du-pape. Very balanced with notes of dark berries. A young producer, this was an early vintage. Great with meats. Purchased at PR as a special for under $50 - great deal. Should serve within 5-15 years of vintage.
