Domaine Moreau-Naudet
Pargues Vieilles Vignes Chablis Chardonnay
Hay. Salty, lightly buttered. Some yellow fruit and citrus. Medium body and medium finish. Nice sweetness and lactic quality. Tart and salty... great.

Jan 21st, 2018Just had a chance to enjoy this young (2013) wine again six months after the first time, it's a different wine, so smoothed out, almost soft, more integrated and harmonious, a nice lesson for me to give a wine some time for it's true character to become revealed before feeling like I understand it (I loved it before, but it seemed more untamed and raw, which I didn't attribute to its age as much as I should have)

Aug 21st, 2016Excellent Chablis. Not as much steely minerality and sea bed as others. But crisp and opens up well with some air. Let it breath and don't serve too cold. Let those fruits come out.

Mar 30th, 2016Huge minerality, lees contact, lemon lime, grassy/hay on the nose. Crushed rocks, med + acidity, baked apple and a bit of nuts.

Mar 5th, 2015#NailedIt on the wine I assessed in this morning's blind tasting. Even the bottle looks impressed. Villages #Chablis. #ViellesVignes add complexity to the green apple, lemon-lime cream & touch of peanut.
