Tawny in color. The nose combines bright red fruit with mellow barnyard funk. On the palate is liquid candy, big, bright, deep and perfectly balanced. Tart cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, cola with a moderate acid finish. Near or at its prime, but probably will continue to evolve nicely for another 10 years.

Tart and bright with cranberry, strawberry, cedar, and oak. A lovely acid finish. A 2005, I think it is still a little on the young side. I'd love to revisit a bottle 10 years from now.
