A royal tannin-bomb! But opened up and had some good texture and great length. Maybe a little too ripe, but solid.

My wife doesn't question wine purchases if they are from her birth year... This was so much better than expected. Limestone-y radish gave way to burg funk that ended up smelling and tasting like we had a white truffle party at the house. Yeah, husband done good.
