Beautiful. Red fruits with underbrush and mushroom. Medium acid, medium tannin. Long finish. Damn that aroma is captivating.

Lots of power and ripe fruit. Moderate spice. Still showing some of its wood and began to close up on the palate after 90 min.

Medium dar rubi robe. Anise, spices and red fruits on the nose. Medium bodied and medium to long length mouth, very elegant and fresh but with rich, elegant and tight tannins. A really excellent Beaumonts that deserves 5 to 6 years to show all its cards.

On the rustic and rich side, fine now but it will likely be much better with more cellar time.

2001 good age, light & somewhat earthy. Perfectly paired with the Beef Wellington & Madeira reduction. Thanks for the suggestion Steven.🍷. Thanksgiving 2015

Exceptional Burgundy - half bottle from '05 - hits you with everything you want in a well-made wine from Burgundy - velvety fruit up front, pleasant dustiness /mushroom notes balanced nicely in with oak on the finish
