Right on the cusp of drinkability. The Chambertins especially seem to need at least 10 years. This one opened up beautifully after an hour of decanting. Currants, dried flowers and earth on the nose. Deep textures on the palate with dark cherry, earth, spice and a light tannic structure.

Really nice wine. Showing a nice mix of Forrest, mushroom and bright cherry flavors. 12% abv, it glides across the palate like a savory sail boat😀

Cherry cola, ripe raspberry, plum, and cinnamon on the nose. Body and finish are nice, but the huge nose left me wanting more complexity on the palate.
