A little reduced. Savory finish, but not very expressive with 30 minutes in decanter. May need 3-5 more years, or all day in decanter, or both.

Oct 13th, 2017Shy at first but opens stunningly in the glass. Rich, deep, nuanced. Incredible balance between earthy Pinot Noir and the candied fruits of Gamay once it comes out of its shell. Definitely decant this one.

May 19th, 20162010....a little reduced although time in glass helped, good concentration/tightly wound, high acidity; a seemingly serious example for AOC, but not the most generous now especially if served to guests who may not be as familiar/open with Gothic, traditional Burgundy. Too much SO2 and not enough carbonic for the glou-glou posey; Lafarge is never "easy like Sunday AM".
