Rustic, earthy, succulent but never clumsy or overbearing. This has soul and that distinct “nourishing” character one finds in the great traditional wines of the world. Muddled cherry, wet leaves, damp forest, ceps, juniper, witch hazel, wilted flowers, beets, warm spice.

Ruby fruit. A bit of toasty oak. Nice purity. Probably needs a little timetime

Albeit a bit tired but went well with the Wagyu.

Very pretty violets and cherry with brooding blue fruit underneath. Light and fresh with lots of detail. Putting on weight with time in the glass with a lovely soft finish. Delicious
