I really liked the 2005 and 2009, and i wanted to try one of the few 2011 I had on hand... Bright Ruby. Red fruit and spice on the nose, but unfortunately some green pepper notes. Palate is tense and sharp, red fruit with the same pepper notes showing through the finish. Got better with food and air, but still not what I hoped it to be. Let’s see what time in the bottle will do.
