On the palate layered flavors of ripe cherry, strawberry and blackerry with notes of cacao, vanilla, spice and oak. Fine rustic tannins, still tight, long savory finish, ending with fruit, sweet spice and slight earthy mineral notes. Very nice!

A case of grabbing the wrong vintage from the cellar... Very tightly wound, with red fruit and spice nose and palate ending with a mildly austere finish. All the elements are there but hold for a few more years. (Drank on 5/29)
