Tasted blind. Amber color, translucent and old looking. Sweet perfumed nose. Notes of cola, cherry, old leather, some spice and some old hickory desk. Nice fruit and structure in the mouth. Over the night this gets better and better with more air. Give the looks of it I guessed really old red burg, maybe 40’s.

My Father & I. I posted his bottle earlier today. He's holding his 1940 Latour & I'm holding a 69 DR RSV. The 69 was gorgeous and in perfect condition as is my Father at this time!!! This is truly an evening that I will remember and treasure forever. Posting any type of tasting note about this after what I wrote in regards to my Dad's bottle seems frivolous at this time. By now you all understand how great these wines were last night and their significance. This was a stunningly beautiful bottle of wine which framed an evening that I will always remember.

Showing its age w fully developed aromas and flavors on the savory side. Delicate Cranberry and red fruit, but loads of earth, brush, shroom as the wine opened up.
