Brought this delicious little nugget back with us from our visit to Alsace, FR. Beautiful, old world dry white with earthy, white truffle delights. My recommendation? Hold this one if you're able restrain yourself for about 10 more years. Yes, I said 10 years. The wines from this region prove themselves to deliver something even more special with time.

Exceptional wine. Crazy balance of acidity & sweetness. Reminiscent of Lipton sweet tea in the best way possible. Tons of fun to drink. Pheasant bolognese wine. At it's peak.

The reason we came to Alsace!. This is the epitome of terroir statements. 2005 Altenberg De Bergheim. They do it different at Marcel Deiss, and they do it well!. This one will be even better in 10 more years.
