Chorey les Beaune Pinot Noir

Dark, rosy color with a magenta rim.
Prominent yet developed oak, savory on the nose.
Chewy and sour, cherry pie. Medium high acid with a medium body and long tight finish.

Very enjoyable after a hour of air. Red fruit with mushrooms, leather, and a touch of smoke.

Light mouthfeel, red fruit on the nose, and flavors reminding me of tart cherries, leather, and barnyard, with subtle honeysuckle notes.

I love how this delivers at the price! Good color, and a pretty nose of flowers, cinnamon and earth. This is really silky from front to back and the fruit never overwhelms the savory notes but they do keep it from needing more time or being a ponderous wine. Great bottle!
