Les Roches Fleurie Gamay

Violets, hibiscus and a vervy foundation. Very direct.

Chocolate covered cherries on the nose, delicately floral and full of spice. Elevated acidity, soft but solid tannin.

Solidly delish.

A tremendous wine for the $$- super energetic gamay.

Structure and tannin. For the wines I have tried this vintage is all about both.

All about the fruit with this wine. Bright aromas and flavors of red berry/cherry. Beautifully balanced acidity. Time has been very good to this vintage. Just a light floral note on the nose. Soft texture and little tannin and a touch of mushroom on the finish. Great with food especially our Thanksgiving Meal! Thank You John P.

Wet earth and gravel on the nose. Bright berry jam, currents, violet, and cranberries. Light but complex and really enjoyable. Great summer red.

Leather and earthiness. Berry and red fruit. Definitely some complexity. Interesting wine but don’t know that I love it. Will probably improve with a few more years.

Very flowery and aromatic, minerally and crunchy tannins.

Great potential but way too young. Better on day 2
