Medium dark and crystal clear rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, flowers and a hint of spices. Very accessible but complex in the mouth with truly velvety tannins and great length. This punches seriously above its weight and is an excellent red burg.

bouquet of black cherry, animal, red licorice, cinnamon, a little anise.
flavors show cranberry, red cherry, wood, cinnamon and red licorice.... very light body but supported by some wood tannins.

This gets a 92 on the 'ol Goodometer. Plush and rounded with good balance and length. It was a home run with tonight's beef stew. Feels great to have my olfactory senses back after getting over a cold.

Lean, austere, bright acidity...a precursor to the lovely '13's I pre-ordered. Needs time. Will age gracefully.
