Valmur Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

Decided to take our tasting to the next logical level.
Textbook expression of Chablis. Tense, pristine and precise. Perfect weight, combines with bright acidity. Impeccable.

Had to try this again, just in case the 2015 was a fluke - it was not.
This vintage is just as pure and focused. Lemon zest on the nose, coupled with roasted nuts. Palate is mineral-driven, steely, with very little wood treatment on display. Finishes with moderate sweetness and a hint of citrus fruits. There is a real tension here, due to the bright acidity.

What a stunning example of a white burg.
White stone fruits on the nose and palate. Pure fruit expression with delicate oak treatment, and deftly balanced acidity. Finishes with blossom, lemon zest, and a slither of honey - sublime - Chelsea, London.

Gul frukt, mogen citron, vita blommor, snäckskal, vanilj. Frisk, medelfyllig, balanserad. Mycket bra.
