Grenouilles Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

So good. See past notes.

Ok, medium-bodied, some saline and chalk. Not very citric. Ok but I prefer more cut.

Had many times. Crushed rocks in a glass with citrus and bright acidity.

Very flowery and exotic. Very good wine but missing the acidity, minerality and dryness of a true grand cru chablis. Too full bodied, could it be that the grapes were overripe ?

La Paulée Grand Cru Lieux-dits of Chablis. Mineral. Leaner than other wines. Lemon custard. Long.

So clear and precise. Flinty, chalky minerality, tropical fruit, tart apple, lees and great acid. So clean, yet full and round.

This wine is amazing! So focused. Subtle but expressive at the same time. Lemon, apple, crushed oyster shells, fresh flowers and mouthwatering acidity.

Laser focused. Lime, lemon zest, lemongrass, sea salt, and powdered stones. Tons of acidity; needs time.

Drinks more like a very good corton than a chablis. Wine is round and very smooth but I miss the chalk, the acidity and minerality of a chablis.
